Analysis of the Effects of Direct Network Report Mode on the Report Incidence Rate of Communicable Diseases

  • Objective This study was designed to analyze the effects of the direct network report system on the report incidence rate of communicable diseases in Jiaojiang district.Methods Statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS software package version 10.0 for Windows and Microsoft Excel to perform X2 test and time sequence test.Results Compared with that in 2003, the report incidence rate of class A and B communicable diseases in 2004 increased by 8.42% (X2=1136.90,PX2=9457.67,PP>0.05) and with the average report epidemic tendency in the recent 5 years (t=0.14,P>0.05).Conclusion The report incidence rate of class A and B communicable diseases increased under the direct network report mode in 2004 in Jiaojiang district and didn’t have much influence on the overall incidence tendency,indicating that the direct network report mode was completely successful for the report of epidemic information of communicahle diseases
