Analysis of Epidemic Outbreak of Acute Communicable Diseases in 2004 in Guizhou Province

Objective The present stuay was conduced to analyze the epidemlological charac—tedstics of epidemic outbreak of acute communicable diseases in 2004 in Guizhou province in or-der to get an insight into the epidemic regularity and provide a scientific basis for constituting the trategies of prevention and treatment Methods The data from 314 rcpons on the epidemic out-breaks of acute communicable diseases occurring in 2004 in Guizhou province were systematically analyzed Results (1) The epidemic outbreaks in schools were predominant mainly affecting stu—dents．(2) The outbreaks of acute communicable disease involving respiratory and intestinal ffacts prevailed Conclusion Strengthening the management of school sanitation should be taken as a major means to effectively control the epidemic situation
