Analysis of Data from Surveillance of Chronic Non-infectious Diseases

  • Objectlve This stuay was conducted to get an insight into the disease composition among the urban and rural residents in the city of Huanghua to contribute to the formulation of practical and feasible interventions and improve the life quality of population Methods The data from surveillance of chronie non-infeetious diseases from 2002 to 2003 in the city of Huanghua were collected and statistically analyzed.Results 2112 cases were involved in this study with those aged from 35 to 70 yeas predominantly affected Of all the cases,hypertension was ranked as the highest in incidence in both sexes,with the top six diseases in a descending order being hy-pertension (821cases,38.87%),type Ⅱ diabetes (214 cases,10.13%),cerebral embolism (213 eases,10.09%),angina peetoris (160 cases,7.58%),cerebral thrombosis (121 cases,5.73%) and mafignant tumor (110 cases,5.21%).Conclusion Improvement of life style and sound adjustment of dietary structure playanimportantroleintheimprovement of the quafity of life for people.
