  • Objective This investigation was to explore the epidemiological characteristics of hepatitis A and related epidemic factors from January to March of 2004 in Yangping Town of Zhenyuan County, and hence to provide basis for the prevention of hepatitis A for the future Methods Verification of epi demic situation and case-control investigation were adopted Results There were totally 77 cases of onset with an attack rate of 6.47‰;This epidemic spread over 10 administrative villages of the town,primarily centralizing in Yangping Village and Taiping Village:February was the peak of onsets,most of which were people aged from 5-19 years old with students as a predominant population:Results of case matched study:there was statistic relevance of drinking unboiled water from pipe network in the street of Yangping with the number of cases(OR=4.17,1.71
