Research on Epidemiological Characteristics and Changes of Leptospirosis in Loudi City

Objective This research was designed tO learn about the epidemiological features and changes of leptospirosis in Loudi City．Methods The epidemic status of leptospirosis in Loudi city from 1967 tO 2003 was analyzed．Results The range of onsets of leptospirosis in Loudi city was expanding，but the intensity was decreasing，and no obvious change in mortality was found．The time of onsets dis—played a convergent trait and the distribution of age took on a diffuse trend．Conclusion The onset of leptospirosis in Loudi city may be periodical and changes of epidemiological feature remind US of the strin—gency in preventive and cure work against leptospirosis．
