Distribution of Insertion Sequence 607 of Helicobacter Pylori for China Strains

Objective This study was desired to investigate the distribution of IS607 in Heli-cobacter pylori from different populations and different clinical outcomes in China．Methods Spe-cific PCR amplification of IS607 from different strains was carryed out；and the distribution of IS607 was analyzed according to the isolations from different population groups and clinical back-ground characteristics statistically．Results 25 of 105 tested Hp strains had IS607；there was no significant difference of the distribution of IS607 among different populations and different clinical outcomes．Conclusions The present of IS607 in Hp may not relate to the host people population and clinical outc
