How to read the text documents exported from direct network report by EXCEL

Objective The present study was conducted to solve the problem that the text docu-ments from direct network report system of epidemic status was difficult tO read by data analysis software in practice．Methods Data were read by opening documents or loading in EXCEL．Result By this way，data could be correctly read and corresponding data format could be con-verted．Conclusion The problem on reading data which puzzled the basic personnel engaged on the surveillance of epidemic status was resolved，which provided conditions for further analysis of epidemic status．
