Study on the dietary nutrition intake level in Zhejiang Province

  • Objective This study was conducted to find out the status of the dietary nutritiou in-take of urban and rural residents in Zhejiang Province.Method ne dietary data was collected by the 3-day 24一hour retrospective method,3 d weigh method and food frequency survey.Results A total of 8 904 residents were surveyed in the investigation.The energy could meet the require-ment basically.Coms were still the main diet,while there was evidently increase of the intake ofanimal food and the high-grade protein intake was enhancing with a relatively high proportion of Dork and a relatively lower proportion Of milk.The calcium intake was improved but was still be-lOW the recommended standard.Conclusion The dietary structure of the urban and rural residents in Zhejiang Province was relatively reasonable,but there have already been the tendency of high-protein and high-lipid intake and the 1ack of the intake of certain nutriments.Therefore,the public education on nutrition knowledge should be strengthened,and the reasonable diet and healthy lifesles should be strongly advocated.
