Study on the pathogenic features of ECHO19 enterovirus based on 30 cases of ECHO19 enterovirus encephalitis

Objective The present study was designed to probe into the clinical，epidemiological and etiological features of ECH019 enterovirus encephalitis based on the data from 30 child cases of the disease．Methods Clinical，epidemiological and laboratory surveillance systems were mobilized to conduct active and passive surveillance for the disease.Results 16 strains of ECH019 enterovirus were isolated and identified from 30 CSF samples collected Conclusion It is concluded that the outbreak of virus encephalitis in the children is caused by ECH019 enterovirus
