Analysis on current state of the resource of health education in Shantou Municipal CDC

Objective The study was made to provide a basis for the construction of professional talent team，equipment，and allocation of equipment resource，and planning and formulation of policies associated with health education in order to meet the growing demands on health education of disease prevention and contr01．Methods Unified report forms from the individual districts and counties as data resource，research and analysis were conduced on the composition of profession-als. Equipment，fund with the requirement of the ministries and provinces as control．Results It was found that there were five CDCs in Shantou City，and fund lack，professional shortage and badly equipment heavily restricted the development of health education．Conclusion It is very necessary to rainforce the input in all aspects for health education based on the requirement of cur-rent situation and to promote and speed up the all-round the development of health education and to meet the demand of the society and the people．
