Reports and follow-up visits and literature reviews of the first case of eperythrozoonosis in human in Zhejiang Province

Objective The report was made to draw attention of the clinicians because Epery-throzoonosis WaS very rare in clinical. Methods A comprehensive analysis was conducted on a case of eperythrozoonosis based on the clinical symptoms，laboratory tests，and treatments．Results The clinical features of eperythrozoonosis were as follows:(1)toxic symptom such as intermittent fever，fatigue，sweat，anorexia，weight loss，etc；(2)anemia，rash，jaundice，splenomegaly，sub-mandibular lymph node enlargement;(3)liver function test showed increaSing in glutamic-pyruvic transaminase and glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase，bilirubin，and globulin high than albumin；(4) PB blood film showed eperythrozoon was positive；(5)CT showed splenomegaly and right lower pneumonia:(6) Doxycycline can get satisfactory effect of the treatment．Conclusion Eperythro-zoonosis is rare in clinical．The early diagnosis Can be made by detail ease history consultation and peripheral blood testing．Doxycycline is an effective medicine．
