Analysis on the incidences of hypertension,hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia among female staff at primary and middle schools in Chaoyang District of Beijing

Objective The present study was conducted to get the knowledge of the morbidity of hypertension，hyperglycemia and hypedipidemia among female teachers，staff & workers at primary and middle schools in Chaoyang District，Beijing，thus to provide basis for prevention and health care in schools．Methods Statistics was conducted on 1323 copies of body check data of female teachers，staff & workers at primary and middle schools in Chaoyang District，Beijing，and statistical analysis was conducted on the morbidity rates of hypertension，hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia among different ages，districts and schools．Results The totaled detected rates of hypertension，hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia were 22.83％，7.03％，37.41％ respectively，which showed an up trend in elder group．The morbidity rate of hypertension，hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia were higher in city population compared to those in rural areas．And the morbidity rate of hypertension，hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia were higher in female staff at primary schools compared to those at middle schools. Conclusion The morbidity rates of hypertension，hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia among female teachers．Staff & workers at primary and middle schools in Chaoyang District，Beijing were relatively high．This district has become a high risk region of potential morbidity of cardio-cerebrovascular diseases，which should be given early prevention and active control．
