Research on and implementation of geospatial case management model

  • Objective The study was conducted to research on the geospatial and data model of case management.The model was described in UML.Methods Through theestablishment of disease control GIS network platform,the research into and the expression of the geospatial case management model were achieved.Results The study summarized several spatial analytic methods in relation to case management commonly used in research on the relationship between case distribution and geological conditions,spread of diseases,outbreaks/warning areas,and so forth.Conclusion The application of geographic information can be deepened by the use of this model in the field of disease control.This is the foundation of further development of application models and a meaningful attempt to establish standardized geographic information applications for the control of diseases.
