Abstract
Objective This study was designed to analyze the epidemiological surveillance status of malaria in Zhoushan Archipelago in recent 17 years. Methods The epidemiological data of malaria were collected every year through surveillance of source of infection, mosquito vector surveillance and serum test. Results It is indicated that the annual incidence was under 1/10 000 and malaria cases and endemic areas were sporadically distributed. The imported cases accounted for 87.32% of all case, which is obviously higher than that in the local residents. Conclusion The malaria situation is stable and control measures of malaria are effective.
