Abstract
Objective This study was conducted to evaluate the interact-based information quality of infectious disease in 2006,and support scientific base to improve the quality in the next work.Method Using the surveillance data from national internet-based information system of infectious diseases in 2006,and doing data query and analysis using structured query language.The indexes of quality evalu- ation include the proportion of timely report failure,proportion of timely checking failure,proportion of repeated report and proportion of no report county.Results There were totally 4 986 932 report cards in 2006,855 990 was timely report failure,186 721 was timely checking failure,6008 was re- ported repeatedly,and cumulative no report county was 1351.The proportion of timely report failure, timely checking failure,repeated report and no report county were separately 17.16%,3.74%,0.03%, 3.63%.The time delay from diagnose to report was 0.69d;from report to checking was 43m.From January to December,the report information quality of infectious disease had been improved gradually. The quality was significantly different among the East,Middle and West district.The quality of East district was the best according to the analysis results.Conclusion Comparing to the year 2005,the re- port information quality of infectious disease has been improved significantly.The timeliness of report and checking has been strengthened,which is meaningful to the early warning alert of outbreak.How- ever,it is not balance among the different districts,which need to be advanced for the West district. Besides,county CDC can check the report information of infectious disease timely,but the checking quality should be advanced.
