Abstract
Objective The present study was conducted to find out the profile of the contamination and distribution of foodborne pathogens in Longyan City. Methods The national standard methods were used to detect S. aureus,Salmonella species,EHEC O157:H7,L.monocytogenes,V.parahaemolyticus,V.cholerae in raw meat and aquatic products. Results 3 strains of S. aureus and 9 strains of Salmonella species were isolated, the positive rate being 10.00% and 4.95%,respectively. The Salmonella species detected included 6 serotypes, with S.derby predominant(4 Strains,4/9). 6 of the 9 strains of Salmonella species, including 4 serotypes, were isolated from raw meat, and 3 of them, including 3 serotypes, were isolated from fishery products. Also,1 strain of EHEC O157:H7 and 1 strain of V.parahaemolyticus were isolated from fishery products. Conclusion There exists contamination of both raw meat and aquatic products by multiple pathogens, which are important sources of infection.
