Analysis on the test result of disinfection quality in nurseries in Changping District of Beijing from 2003 to 2006

  • Objective The study was conduct to provide scientific bases for the disinfection and prevention of diseases in nurseries to keep children healthy. Methods Retrospective analysis were conducted based on the quality inspection data of disinfection work in nurseries in Changping District of Beijing from 2003 to 2006. Results There were 2668 samples of disinfection quality test in nurseries in Changping District from 2003 to 2006 and 2147 passed,the average passing rate being 80.47%; the annual average passing rate were respectively 91.11%,80.40%,80.40 and 74.17%,decreasing by year. Significant differences were observed among the average passing rates in the last four years (X2=45.99,P0.005). As to the tests of different projects,workers' hands had the lowest average passing rate,48.71%; the average passing rates of catering appliances,air,surface of objects were respectively 76.50%,84.00% and 87.00%,with significant differences(X2=247.52,P0.005). Conclusion The quality of disinfection work in nurseries in Changping District was declining year after year,with the prominent problem in hands of the staff. It is also required to enhance the sanitary quality of food appliances. It is suggested that the health condition improved through training of disinfection knowledge,supervision,inspection,spot guidance and other measures.
