Abstract
Objective The study was conducted to identify the cause of the food poisoning and provide evidence for prevention and control of similar incidents in the future. Methods The analysis of food poisoning was conducted on the basis of the epidemiological investigation, clinical manifestations, laboratory testing results and diagnostic criteria. Results Vibrio parahaemolyticus was detected in the anal swab samples of 10 patients and 3 chefs, food smear samples and 8 remaining food samples with consistent biological characteristics. Conclusion The food poisoning was caused by Vibrio parahaemolyticus
