Method for molecular subtyping of Vibrio cholerae

Strain subtyping is used to survey infection sources and route of transmission during epidemiological surveys of cholera.Serotyping and phage-biotype analysis are necessary for acquiring the primal information of strains.But for polymorphism or phylogenic studies in the genetic leave,molecular subtyping is the most suitable tools.The aim of this review is to integrate the molecular subtyping methods of Vibrio cholerae and compare these techniques.
