Abstract
Idiopathic thrombo-cytopenic purpura (ITP) is one of acquired autoimmune diseases with unknown cause and decrease of platelet counts, its development depends on the generating of special autoantibodies. Because pathogenic mechanism of ITP is unclear, the effect of treatment is not perfect. It has been found that bacterial infection is an essential stimulating factor to ITP. IHelicobacter pylori/I (IH.pylori/I) infection was reported to be associated with the occurrence of some ITP cases. Eradication of IH.pylori/I could provide remarkable influence to the restoration of hemogram and hormone treatment effect of IH.pylori/I positive ITP patients, but it has been also reported that there was no obvious association between IH.pylori/I infection and ITP.
