Investigation of influenza B outbreak in school in Jingbian county, Shaanxi province, 2007

To analyze the influenza B outbreak in a school in Jingbian county, 2007. Descriptive study was conduct0ed to analyze the outbreak data. The outbreak occurred during May 24-June 10, and 212 out of 755 students and faculty were affected (40 were teachers or staffs). Laboratory test result indicated that the influenza outbreak was caused by influenza B virus.
