Hygienic Surveillance of water quality of Luanhe river and its branches in Xilingele league, Inner Mongolia

ObjectiveTo analyze the water quality of Luanhe river and its branches which flow through Duolun county in Xilingele league. MethodsThe analysis was conducted on the results of the water quality detection of Luanhe river and 7 branches (Yangchangzi river, Yijia river, Heifeng river, Shandian river, Xiaohezi river, Tulegen river and Luanni river). ResultsThe water in 8 rivers belonged to the type of mild mineralized soft water with heavy contents of carbonate (calcium and magnesium), all the toxicological indicators met the criterion, and the health hazard index (Kt) of pollutants in 8 rivers was 1. ConclusionThe physicochemical indicators and toxicological indicators of 8 rivers were in safe range.
