Epidemiological survey of human infection with avian influenza A (H7N9) virus in Lishui, Zhejiang

To understand the epidemiological characteristics of human infection with influenza A (H7N9) virus, epidemiological survey was conducted for the first laboratory confirmed case of human infection with influenza A(H7N9) virus in Lishui. The case had obvious poultry contact history before the onset, and H7N9 viruses were detected in the stool samples of poultry to which the case exposed, indicating that the infection might be associated with the environment of farm produce market.
