This paper summaries the discovery of genome rearrangement of bacteria and its characteristics and impact on bacteria heredity and evolution; The frequent genome rearrangement of Yersinia pestis was mainly caused by insertion sequences and repeated sequence in genome of Yersinia pestis. The genome rearrangement of Yersinia pestis from different source has its patterns, Their genetics distance and linking mode were the important indicators to identify Yersinia pestis.
