Progress in molecular typing research for Bartonella henselae

Bartonella hanselae is an emerging zoonosis pathogen and is world-wide distributed. As the development of molecular biological technology, several molecular typing methods have been applied in the epidemiological investigation of the pathogen, which facilitates the understanding of the diversity and phylogenic relation among B. henselae isolates. This paper summarizes the applications of several molecular typing methods in the molecular epidemiological investigation of B. henselae.
