Survey and treatment of an imported cholera case from Myanmar

Abstract
On 14 December 2011, one case of cholera occurred in Hunong village, bordering with Myanmar, in Dehong prefecture, Yunnan. The case was confirmed to be infection of Vibrio cholerae O1 Inaba and imported from Myanmar. After the treatment in hospital for 7 days, the patient recovered, and after 2 negative results were obtained in clinical sample detection, the patient was discharged.
