Abstract
Objective To understand the prevalence of high risk human papillomavirus(HR-HPV) infection and its correlation with cervical lesions in women in Zhoushan archipelago region. Methods From July 2008 to October 2011,HR-HPV load was detected by hybrid capture Ⅱ(HC-Ⅱ) in 5412 women. Cervical biopsy was conducted for the women who were HR-HPV positive and the risk factors were determined by using demographic and epidemiologic data. Results The positive rate of HR-HPV infection was 20.01%(1083/5412), which declined with age(PPPConclusion The positive rate of HR-HPV infection and detection rates of cervical lesions in HR-HPV positive women were high in Zhoushan, it is necessary to conduct HR-HPV infection screening and follow up of positive women for the early detection of cervical lesions.
