Survey of a rotavirus diarrhea outbreak in a school
From December 18 to December 26, 2012,an outbreak of infectious diarrhea occurred in a school in Yuhang district, Hangzhou. A total of 74 cases were reported with an attack rate of 5.32%. Etiological detection indicated that the pathogen was Rotavirus group A. The epidemic was effectively controlled after taking appropriate measures of interrupting transmission, blocking the route of transmission and health education.
