  • In October 2012, a food borne outbreak of cholera O139 after mass dinner occurred in Hubei province. Twenty six cases were confirmed according to the clinical manifestations, epidemiological survey results and laboratory detection findings, no death occurred. The outbreak was effectively controlled by the multi sectoral cooperation on prevention and control in Huangshi, Ezhou and Wuhan.
