Review of epidemiological characteristics of breakthrough varicella and risk factors

  • Breakthrough varicella is defined as the varicella case occurred 42 days after vaccination. The cases usually have short duration, mild symptomes,<50 lesions, no fever or low fever. This paper summarizes the research on the clinical and epidemiological characteristics of breakthrough varicella and related risk factors.
