Abstract
In October 17, 2013, an urban vaccination clinic in Xiangshan reported to county center for disease control and prevention that a child developed idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura occurred after immunization of inactivated Japanese encephalitis vaccine and freeze-dried attenuated varicella vaccine. The immunization expert panel survey result indicated that the case was associated with viral infection because there was no evidence to support the association between the vaccination and the onset of the disease.
