Measures and Experience of US Response to Ebola Virus Disease

  • The outbreak of Ebola virus disease(EVD) in West Africa continues to escalate. The system of disease prevention and control in US is completed and effective. We summarized the major measures and practices taken by US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and National Institutes of Health on preventing EVD, including developing guidelines, providing guidance to the public, promoting drug research and development, and conducting high quality international aids, to provide reference for the further improvement of China's communicable disease prevention and control in foreign countries.
