Progress in research of disease burden caused by influenza and its prevention in children and pregnant women

Influenza is an acute respiratory infectious disease worldwide, which might increase the risk of hospitalization in children and pregnant women and result in heavy disease burden. Vaccination is the most effective way to prevent influenza. This paper summarize the progress in the research of the disease burden caused by influenza and its prevention in children and pregnant women.
