Abstract
Objective To analyze the incidence of cardio-cerebral vascular diseases and its influencing factors in Taizhou, Zhejiang province, during 2011-2015 and provide reference for the prevention and control of the disease. Methods Descriptive epidemiologic analysis was conducted by using the prevalence data of chronic diseases in Taizhou during 2011-2015,which were collected from Zhejiang Provincial Chronic Disease Surveillance System, with software SPSS 17.0. Results The average annual incidence of cardio-cerebral vascular disease was 414.65/100 000 in Taizhou during 2011-2015,the incidence rate increased with year from 317.14/100 000 in 2011 to 478.54/100 000 in 2015. The average annual incidence of stroke was higher than that of coronary heart disease. The incidences of both cardiovascular disease and cerebrovascular disease increased with age, and the incidences were higher in males than in females and in rural area than in urban area, the differences were significant. Conclusions The incidence of cardio-cerebral vascular disease showed an increasing trend year by year. The incidence of the disease was associated with age, gender and living area. Close attention should be paid to the prevention of control cerebrovascular disease. Old people and males are at high risk for cardio-cerebral vascular disease.
