Abstract
Objective To understand the infection status of Brucella among the people and the incidence trend of brucellosis in Fukang, and provide evidence for the further control of the disease. Methods Cluster sampling epidemiological survey was conducted among local villagers and serum antibodies to Brucella were detected by using rose bengal plate test and tube agglutination test. Serum titer 1∶100(+ +)was positive indicator. Results A total of 665 people received Brucella detection in Fukang in 2010, eleven were serum positive (1.65%). The gender and age specific difference on the positive rate was not statistically significant among the people (P0.05), but the nation specific difference was statistically significant (P0.05). Conclusion The risk of human brucellosis epidemic is great in Fukang, the main risk factor is the brucellosis epidemic in livestock.
