Abstract
Objective To establish and apply the health promotion and intervention model of short message service plus protection skill training. Methods Totally 360 community residents were selected randomly and divided into 2 experimental groups and 1 control group equally. The model of short message service plus protection skill training was applied in experimental group A, the model of protection skill training was applied in experimental group B. Results The effect of two models was compared on the awareness rate of health knowledge and prevalence of health attitude and health behavior practice. Before intervention there was no significant statistical difference between two groups(P0.05). After intervention the awareness rate of health knowledge and prevalence of health attitude and health behavior practice increased obviously in experimental group A than in group B(P0.05). Conclusion The model of short message service plus protection skill training is an effective model for the prevention and control of communicable disease in community.
