微博与传统网络媒体对一起人禽流感疫情舆情监测特点分析

Public monitoring of a epidemic of human infection with avian influenza virus through Micro-blog and traditional internet media

  • 摘要: 目的 通过对一起人感染禽流感疫情不同应对处置阶段中百度新闻和腾讯微博的舆情监测,讨论网络媒体的发布情况与公众的关注度之间的关系,比较传统网络媒体和新兴网络媒体(微博)对舆情监测的影响。 方法 运用信息检索方法,使用百度新闻搜索引擎和腾讯微博关键词检索新闻的功能,检索从5月28日至6月11日关键词含"广州禽流感"或"香港禽流感"的新闻和微博消息,所用数据资料经查重后,运用Excel 2003软件进行录入、绘图,分析两种媒体发布量的特征。 结果 在本次事件中,公众对该疫情的网络关注时间和微博舆论持续时间均为7 d。共搜索到相关网络媒体新闻1420条和相关微博3024条,微博发布量的波峰出现时间比网络媒体新闻的波峰出现时间提前1天。网络媒体新闻发布量呈现一次性效应,出现一次高峰后迅速下降,微博发布量根据事情进展出现多次不同程度的波峰后缓慢下降。 结论 在本次人禽流感疫情中,由于政府部门迅速的应急处置、积极的媒体沟通应对和主动公开疫情相关情况,正确引导了舆论,公众关注度在短时间内得到平息。微博在突发公共卫生事件信息传播中具有传播速度快、反应灵敏的特点,因此建议在今后的突发公共卫生事件应急处置中,政府可以借助微博,更有效快捷地公开信息,并开展微博的舆情监测,及时了解公众的反应。

     

    Abstract: Objective To analyze the characteristics of public monitoring of a epidemic of human infection with avian influenza virus in Guangzhou through Micro-blog and traditional internet media and compare the roles of Micro-blog and traditional internet media in public monitoring of epidemic. Methods The news entitled "Avian influenza in Guangzhou" or "Avian influenza in Hong Kong " from May 28 to June 11 were searched in traditional internet media and Micro-blog respectively and the news amounts of two media were analyzed. Results The concern of the public to the epidemic lasted for 7 days. Totally 1420 pieces of news and 3024 pieces of news were released from traditional internet media and Micro-blog respectively. The news peak of Micro-blog was one day early than traditional internet media. The traditional internet media's news releasing had one time effect, but the Micro-blog's news releasing would last along with the epidemic response period. Conclusion Micro-blog is rapid and sensitive media in news releasing. It is suggested for the government to use Micro-blog in public health emergency response to release relevant news timely and conduct public monitoring.
